COTTAGE STYLE: Plants & Pots

I found a Fluffy Ruffles Fern at Walmart a few months, but didn't buy a planter for it.  The leaves are so green, and ruffly.  It's beautiful!  I found a planter for it, and bought it over the weekend to go in our bedroom.  You can find the pot at Walmart for around $6.94.

I have been looking for a console table for my living room for a LONG time!

Finally found one that fit my budget.  Loved the drawers, and bottom shelf features.

BEACH COTTAGE STYLE: By the Sea decor

Cracker Barrel has beautiful, summer beach decor.  Love all of it, but my favorites are the blue oyster bowl, and the clam shell bowl.   Ahhhh, this takes me to the beach just looking at it!  Can't wait til summer vacation.

Dining Room Furniture Makeover

Love my dining room furniture, but I want to refinish it.  The top of the table is looking worn.  Researching ideas, pricing, and colors for the project.  Stay tuned for more details and photos of the makeover.

COTTAGE BEDROOM: WAVERLY-NORFOLK

Mom, my daughter, and I were walking through Belks in Gastonia, NC on Sunday, and found Waverly's Norfolk pattern.  This would TOTALLY match the print on my wall.  Everything is on sale the rest of this week!  Love the cabbage rose print, and the colors.

SHABBY COTTAGE BEDROOM DECOR

Two of my favorite styles combined -SHABBY CHIC and COTTAGE STYLE- to make SHABBY COTTAGE STYLE! With this blog, I hope to share my passion for everything "COTTAGE/SHABBY CHIC". I have been decorating my room, and found a few inexpensive pieces! To make the room more cozy, I chose white furniture. Color is incorporated in the bedding and artwork.

I bought two of these; one for the front door, and to hang over my bed. The letter over the steel, white headboard reminds me of a garden gate.
